July 31 Singe-Day Forecast
Today expect scattered showers and thunderstorms mostly along the international border and on the mountains. More widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow as more moisture is pumped in due to a mid-level southeasterly flow. With this slow moving storm, you can expect temperatures to drop into the 90's this weekend with overnight lows in the 70's- a nice break from those extreme temperatures. . If you are planning on traveling out this weekend keep in mind there will be some localized blowing dust which could trigger a blowing dust advisory over the next several hours.
